Helena graduated from Escola das Belas Artes, Lisbon in 1991. She majored in Sculpture and Portrature. She has also studied further at Funchal Art School, Madeira and Norwich School of Art, England.
Helena took a Post Graduate course in Art and Education at the Institute of Education, Russell Square, London.
Helena has exhibited in Picoas Institute, Lisbon and worked and exhibited in schools across London, as Resident Artist as well as teaching Sculpture & Fine Art.
Helena's portraits really capture the true spirit and character of their subjects and offer the opportunity to beautifully record the moment, whether it be of a family member or other subject.
Now with an established studio in a delightful old church school, Helena is able to create sculptural portraits in a comfortable and relaxed ambience creating a truly memorable experience.
